DOA-DOA UNTUK PELAJAR CEMERLANG

DOA-DOA UNTUK PELAJAR CEMERLANG, IN SYA ALLAH
Sumber ibnunaeem

2) Doa selepas mengulangkaji pelajaran :

4) Doa apabila terlupa ketika menjawab soalan :

5) Doa memohon kejayaan cemerlang :

6) Doa ketika menerima kertas soalan :

“Wahai Tuhanku, lapangkanlah bagiku dadaku.

(insaf lepas baca walaupun panjang) :'(

Nobita : A’ ah xbosan. Best!
Sizuka : Kalau best, knp awk letakkan kepala awk kat bahu sy & beritahu sy y awk mengantuk?
Nobita : Errr~ hehe..

Sizuka : Nasib baik kita pakai sweater kn awk? Kalau x, mesti sejuk dalam tu td.
Nobita : A’ah..btul3! Xdela sejuk sgt td bila dah pakai sweater ni.
Sizuka : Klu xsejuk, kenapa awk pegang tangan sy & beritahu y awk sejuk?
Nobita : Errr~ hehe..

Mereka pun menuju ke i-City..

Sizuka : Awk, sy cantik x?
Nobita : Awk kn syg sy..mestilah cantik..
Sizuka : Kalau sy ni betul cantik bagi awk, kenapa bila sy pakai baju-baju tertentu baru awak akan puji sy cantik. Kalau sy pakai baju longgar, awk diam je..kadang-kadang awk akan tanya saya kenapa pakai baju besar..kalau sy pakai baju ketat, baru awk puji sy cantik..knp ye?
Nobita : Errr~ hehe..

Mereka pun tiba di i-City..

Sizuka : Jom snap pic wak..sy nak tangkap gambar awk bawah lampu tu.
Nobita : Kita tangkap gambar berdua la syg. Meh sini, duduk sebelah sy. Rapat sikit, nanti xmasuk plak gambar awk.
Sizuka : Boleh ke rapat-rapat ni?huu
Nobita : Takpe de..awk kn awek sy..
Sizuka : Awek je..bukan isteri yg sah..
Nobita : Errr~ huhu..

Sizuka : Nanti sy simpan gambar kita ni dalam laptop sy ye wak.
Nobita : Alaa..upload la terus dalam fb.
Sizuka : Eh..boleh ke..xelok la wak..gambar tu dah la awk & sy je..yang ke-3 syaitan..pastu nak pergi heboh 1 dunia tentang dosa y kita buat..xmalu ke?huu
Nobita : Errr~ huhu..

Mereka pun pulang..

Sizuka : “Awk, awk syg sy x?
Nobita : Mestilah syg..syg sangat2 tau..haa
Sizuka : Buktinya??
Nobita : Eh..mcm ajak bergurau je..nak sy kiss pipi awk tu ke syg?hehe
Sizuka : Ish..apa ni? Teruknya pemikiran awk..huu
Nobita : Eh..errr~ huhu

Sizuka : Mak sy kata, kalau kita syg sesuatu tu, kita akan jaga sebaik mungkin.
Nobita : Eh..mestila! hehe
Sizuka : Tapi awk tipu sy!huu~
Nobita : Eh..kenapa plak sy tipu awk??
Sizuka : Kalau awk syg sy, mestilah awk jaga sy sebaik mungkin tp awk xjaga sy dgn baik pun..awk sentuh-sentuh sy, pegang tangan sy, cuba nk kiss sy,ajar sy buat benda bukan-bukan yg sy xpernah buat sebelum ni, selalu ajak sy keluar malam-malam.

Nobita : Owh..sekarang awk nak salahkan sy la ajak awk keluar malam?? Mak ayah awk yg bg izin tau!
Sizuka : Memang diorang y bagi izin tapi awk tau x y diorang jugak y akan tanggung dosa sy dgn awk malam-malam macam ni sbb diorang bg izin pada sy ank perempuan diorang utk keluar dgn lelaki bukan mahram tanpa adik atau abang sy sebagai peneman pastu buat benda-benda xsenonoh! Pegang sana pegang sini..awk tau x panggung wayang tu mungkin sejuk bagi awk sampai terpegang tangan sy dgn sengaja, tp neraka tu teramat panas & tangan awk y memegang tangan sy tu akan dibakar dalam api neraka berulang kali..awk sedar x semua tu?? Tangkap gambar nak kepit-kepit, padahal boleh je tangkap gambar sorang-sorang kan..then, nak heboh kat 1 dunia. Pastu nanti org ‘like’ awk pun suka sebab orang tau siapa awek awk & hubungan awk dan sy kononnya bahagia tapi awk sedar x yang malaikat sentiasa mencatat segala apa yg kita buat..awk ada ilmu agama..klu xde ilmu agama pun, awk tau benda tu salah..tp kenapa masih buat? Awk sedar x semua tu???

Sizuka : Ingat Allah tak waktu awk buat semua tu?? Awk tu belum tentu jodoh sy, nak sentuh-sentuh sy. Klu betul awk syg sy, awk jaga lah sy baik-baik, beri sokongan sy jd muslimah solehah…dekatkan diri pada Allah, mohon pada Allah supaya izinkan kita dijodohkan bersama kerana sy ni milik Allah..ibu bapa hanya penjaga sy, mereka menjaga sy dgn penuh kasih sayang & didikan y baik sehingga sanggup memberi kepercayaan pada awk utk menjaga sy, tp awk jaga sy x??awk jaga sy x?? x kan..awk bawa sy kea rah keburukan..awk sedar x semua tu??? Banyak lagi y awk buat kat sy, sy pun terlalu kurang pandai ikutkan je kemahuan awk..nanti kat neraka bila Allah soal sy dgn dosa-dosa maksiat y kita buat, bukannya awk dapat backup sy dpn Allah..kn?? Tolonglah tahan diri tu sehingga kita dah sah dinikahkan..huuu~

Suasana bertukar menjadi suram…sehinggalah nobita mula meluah perasaan…

Nobita : Kenapa x dari dulu awk cakap semua benda ni?? Kenapa bila kita dah lalui macam-macam baru awk nak luahkan semua ni???
Sizuka : Sebab sebelum awk nak couple sgn sy, awk janji yang awk akan jaga sy baik-baik. Awk suka dengan saya pun sebab bagi awk sy baik tapi semakin lama awak makin berubah. Perubahan awk turut merubah diri sy. Baru sekarang sy luah semua benda ni sebab selama ni sy sentiasa menanti agar Nobita y dulu kembali. Nobita y menjaga sy dgn baik. Sy tunggu Nobita tu..tunggu & terus menunggu kerana sy sayangkan dia. Tapi semakin lama sy tunggu, semakin menjadi-jadi…awk fikirlah baik-baik apa y sy sampaikan…kalau awk masih xberubah, lepaskan sy kerana Allah..

Nobita : ……

(An-Nisa' :59)

Pernah diceritakan tentang Imam Syafie menghormati gurunya.

Rasulullah s.a.w bersabda:

Terdapat banyak cara menghormati guru kita.

Ibnu 'Abbas r.a pernah mendatangi salah seorang daripada sahabat Rasulullah s.a.w untuk bertanya kepadanya mengenai suatu hadith. Lalu dikatakan kepadanya: Dia sedang tidur. Maka duduklah Ibnu 'Abbas di muka pintu. Lalu dikatakan kepadanya: Tidak perlukah kita mengejutkannya? Ibnu 'Abbas pun menjawab: Jangan.

Eye Makeup for Small Eyes

Eyes are the windows to the soul. There are women with small eyes and are not blessed with big eyes.It will be a problem when you chose to emphasize. A suitable eye make up can overcome the problem by emphasizing those small eyes.
Applying makeup to small eyes can be a challenge. Too much eye makeup can make small eyes appear even smaller while too little can cause them to appear insignificant. Its important to strike a happy medium and choose colors that will open up and accent small eyes. Here are some small eye makeup tips that can help give your eyes that extra pop.

1.Mascara Trick:-Apply mascara to the lower lashes with downward strokes twisting the brush back and forth slightly to separate the lashes. Applying in this way you can draw attention to your eyes making them to be emphasizing. The more they emphasize the more is highlighting your eye make up and your eyes.Another easy way to make your small eyes look larger is to use this mascara trick. When you are applying mascara apply the first coat to your entire set of eye lashes. Then add a second and third coat to the outside lashes. Make sure that you coat both the upper and lower lashes in the outside corner of your eye. Leaving the inside section of your lower eye lashes without mascara.

2.Eye Liner Trick :-Eyeliner is used to create the eye make up more prominent.Using eyeliner is the best way to produce bigger bolder and more significant eyes. Eye make up can help overcome the problem of your small eyes but when used correctly.
In addition to using your eye liner to open up your eye you can also use it to extend your lash line to create the illusion that your eye is larger. To create this effect properly you will want to follow the lash line from the inside of your upper lid to nearly the end of the outer corner of your eye. However before you reach the outside edge of your eye create a curve upward. This trick will not only help to create a longer eye shape but it will also help you to create the illusion of a thicker lash line.

3.Eye Shadow Highlights:-Eye shadow can be used to create a lot of different effects and looks. One of the effects that you can use it to create is the illusion that you have larger eyes. To create this effect you will want to use an off-white shadow to shade the inner section of your eye lid and then use a pure white highlighter to brighten the inner most part of the lid even more.
The next to concentrate on eye make up is eye shadow. Take care when applying even it is a commonly detained faith impressive eye shadow doesnt highlight your eyes. In fact it will make just the opposite.Applying dramatic eye shadow in excess will lead to shrivel your eyes by focusing them back into your face. So apply eye shadow a little to look simple when you have small eyes.

4.Shape of Eyebrow:-In your eye make up finally concentrate on the shape of your eyebrows. Having brows too close together or heavy can make your eyes look smaller. To overcome this tweeze your eyebrows more than normally. Better if you can bring your eyebrows about an eye length apart.

Having small eyes are not at all a problem if you concentrate your efforts on those small eyes to look great. Enlarging your eyes will become easy with perfection in your eye make up techniques and taking care of the skin near your eyes.

Mineral Makeup Tips And Tricks

Mineral makeup is good for your skin and can be quite fun to apply. Most first time users think its difficult and messy. Nothing can be further from the truth. Once you learn easy mineral makeup tips, it should take you no more than five minutes to apply your mineral makeup with fantastic results.

1. Let it dry :-
Give yourself a minute to allow your moisturizer to dry before applying your mineral powder.

2. Swirl, tap, buff to beautiful coverage :-
1. Swirl :-Tap some of the powder in the jar lid and swirl your brush into the minerals. Go around the lid three times with the Buki brush to pick up the product on the brush.
2. Tap :-Tap your Buki brush two times to release excess powder.
3. Buff :- Brush onto your face using a light buffing effect. Start with a thin layer and add layers as needed. Remember to brush in a downward direction on the sides of the face to avoid fluffing up the small hairs on the cheeks.

3. Use the right tools of the trade :-
As with most things, using the right tools can make a world of difference in your end result. When applying mineral makeup, its worth investing in a good buki brush. A buki brush is a soft dome shaped brush that is especially effective at applying mineral powder and buffing the product onto the skin. It is designed specifically to apply the product evenly around the nose, mouth and eyes.

4. Find your perfect match :-
1. Mineral powders are by nature light-reflecting. Expect to use a shade or two darker than your liquid foundation.
2. If your foundation looks powdery after youve applied it, wait five or ten minutes and check again. The minerals meld with the oils of the skin and look natural in a short time. If they continue to look powdery your shade is too light–consider switching to the next darker shade.

5. Less is More :-
Mineral powders are extremely concentrated. This product is designed to be applied in layers. Start with one light layer and see if the coverage is what you want, if not apply additional layers till you reach the glow that simply cant be duplicated by other types of makeup.

A makeup guide for people with oily skin

Foundation can actually prevent oily-looking skin. In addition to hiding skin imperfections such as scars, freckles and acne, it can also give you an even tone while concealing the flaws.

- Choose a foundation that suits your skin type. Remember, dont compromise your own result just because someone else looks good in a particular brand of foundation.

- A full-coverage matte foundation is best for oily skin since it will last longer than those with light or medium coverage.

- Foundations for oily skin should be applied using a makeup sponge. Using your fingers transfers more oil to the face.

- To avoid patches, apply a thin layer of foundation only. People with oily skin will experience a “caking” finish if a thick layer was applied.

- For a more natural look, the best foundation for oily skin is always a shade lighter than your skin tone, because the skins oil will make the foundation darker, as I have mentioned earlier.

How To Apply Lip Gloss

The application of makeup should be an extension of a womans personal style. There is no conceivable way any woman can decide on a style of makeup without considering what clothing she is wearing, shoes, bag and for what occasion.

1. Select a neutral color like clear or wear a lip gloss that matches, complements or contrast with clothing

2. Match the lip gloss to a lip liner that is the color of your clothing red dress, red lip gloss. Pink dress, pink lip gloss

3. Apply the lip liner first, corner to center, for the upper and lower lip then apply the lip gloss the same way.

4. Lip gloss goes on after the lip stick and lip liner application.

5. Do not over use the lip gloss, apply a little at a time to the upper and lower lips

6. Lip gloss and lip liner alone make a great fashion statement especially when a woman has good skin.

How To Choose The Perfect Purse

A purse is far more than a simple accessory. It is a practical carrying case, a way to express your sense of style, something to play with during awkward moments, and even a weapon in times of trouble. In fact, if I were going to write a post called How To Choose The Perfect Man, it would probably be half this long because that subject is not nearly as important. The thing about a purse is that you carry it every day, so it has to be comfortable, versatile, aesthetically pleasing, and good quality enough to endure rough commutes, chronic overstuffing, and harrowing public bathroom trips. Shopping for the right handbag can be a daunting task. Here are the most important variable to consider when youre in the market for a new purse…

1. Handles :- I was just talking to my mom about how the wrong handles are probably the biggest purse dealbreaker. Have you ever bought a shoulder bag that kept slipping off your shoulder? Or a purse with small handles only to realize you hate having your hands full? Or a cross-body bag with a skinny strap that dug into your boobs? Figure out your personal purse strap preference, and dont stray too far from your comfort zone [literally–whats the most comfortable for you?]. We carry our purses with us every day: how we carry them matters.

2. Size :- Think of a purse like a garage: you need enough room to park your wallet and store important supplies, but if its too big youll end up filling the whole thing with crap you dont need and youll never be able to find anything. When youre shopping for a new purse, examine the contents of your current handbag to figure out what your necessities are. For me, I need room for my wallet, keys, cellphone, sunglasses, 8 packs of gum, chapstick, a notebook, and 300,000 bobby pins. Those are my non-negotiables. What are yours? And how much space do they need? Be realistic–that teeny tiny clutch might be cute but if it only has room for a tube of lipstick and a couple of barbie shoes, it wont do you much good as an everyday bag. Larger bags can be great but personally, I have a tendency to fill whatever bag I have to capacity. When my bag is the size of a dump truck, this can pose a problem.

3. Color :- The most important factor here is versatility, but that doesnt mean you are required to choose conservative tan purses all the time. Think about what you want your purse to add to your daily outfits. Do you want it to blend in? Do you want it to be the focal point? Or somewhere in between? A bright orange purse, for example, can be a totally versatile choice if you want an eye-catching accessory and wear clothing that complements it.

4. Safe color bets :- Black, gray, most shades of brown.
Unexpectedly versatile options: red, burgundy, forest green, dark blue.

5. Quality :- Leather purses are usually the best quality and longest lasting, but you can find solid bags made of many different fabrics. Look at the stitching, how sturdy the seams are, if the handles seem strong or flimsy. Look for little details like tiny metal feet on the bottom that let you set your bag down without getting it dirty, a nice lining, reinforced handles, or strong zippers. Keep in mind that it can be worth paying a bit more for a good quality purse from a brand that you trust.

6. Structure :- Never buy a purse that doesnt have at least a couple smaller pockets to organize your things. Trying to locate your keys at the bottom of a dark, cavernous handbag is as hopeless an endeavor as Rose locating Jack at the bottom of the Atlantic [too soon?]. Other factors to consider: does the bag stay upright when you set it on the ground or does it crumple or fall over? Does the top close with a zipper or a clasp or not at all? [If you travel a lot you will need a purse that closes for security reasons.] Are there too many pockets, pouches, and doodads? Is the main storage space easy to access?

7. Cost :- Heres the deal. If you have a little extra money to spend on a good quality purse that you love, you will not regret it. You carry it every single day, so if you divide the price of the purse by the number of times you use it, pretty soon that purse is cutting you a check.

Most people attend several weddings in their lifetime, but these days you might even participate in a few of them.

However, you should decide which type of wedding photos you prefer well ahead of time and let the photographers know. You may also want to have them try a few shots as samples before the event, so youre all on the same page.

If youre taking photos at somebody elses wedding, make sure you know the photography etiquette for it as the procedures for photographers often vary from wedding to wedding.

For instance, you may or may not be able to use flash. Make sure you are in a position to get a good view of the proceedings and dont forget to take the proper equipment and backup. You dont want your battery to drop dead just as the bride and groom are about to kiss.

Tips For Dressing Well For Fat Women

Choose clothes that accentuate the positive aspects of your voluptuous body while camouflaging the things you dont like to dress well when overweight. Clothes that are too big for your body look frumpy and disheveled, and clothes that are too small for your body make you look bigger than you are. Heres how to find the perfect clothing for your body.

1.Start with a well-fitting bra. Think of undergarments as a foundation to dressing well. Choose bras with wider straps so they dont cut into your shoulders and full cup coverage so your bra will move with your body.

2.Find the right pants that fit your waist, hips and thighs properly without cutting off your circulation or being so baggy that you cant even tell where your waist, hips and thighs are. Visit Kiyonna.com [See Additional Resources] to find premium denim jeans made specifically for curvaceous women.

3.Get the shirt fit right. Make sure buttons dont strain or pull and the length of the shirt hits at just below the hips. Buttons that pull means the shirt is too small and a shirt that hits at the or below the hips gives the illusion of an elongated, smaller torso.

4.Choose a structured jacket made from heavy cotton, denim, corduroy or wool that is wider at the top, fitted at the waist, flare a bit at the bottom and end just below the hem have a slimming effect. Choose a jacket with details such as darting or seams on the waist. Detailing will make the waist look narrower.

5.Pay attention to the cut of your pants. You want to balance your body through clothing to dress well when overweight. So, when choosing pants, go for a classic or wide-leg cut for trousers and a straight- or boot-leg cut for jeans.

Tips on runway modeling

There are many different types of models, but many of the top and most popular models today made their mark on the runway. Most supermodels like Gisele Bundchen, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, Petra Nemcova and many others have in one way or another graced the runways of Milan, New York, Madrid, Paris and other major cities during fashion shows. The runway, so to speak, is where their careers actually took off, modeling creations by some of the worlds most famous fashion designers.

But runway modeling is not a walk in the park. There are a number of things that a person must keep in mind whenever he or she takes to the runway, because small things as to how your posture is or how you move your arms can spell the difference between success and failure in the highly competitive world of runway modeling.

Your shoulders, for instance, should not move while youre walking. As much as possible, keep them still. Then theres your arms. While all a male model has to do is just swing his arms naturally, a woman would do well to focus on keeping her upper arms close to her body so that her arms will swing more from the elbows down.

When walking, a female runway model must take longer strides, and walk with one foot in front of the other because this gives your hips a natural swinging motion. Men, meanwhile, just have to walk normally, only with longer strides.

Now being on the runway means that there are countless pairs of eyes set on you. This is nerve-wracking for many, but most models deal with it by focusing their eyes straight ahead of them, giving them that staring-off-into-the-distance look. Just remember not to stare into the glare of all the lights that will surely be on you, or you might just be blinded enough to step right off the runways ledge.

Models must be oozing with confidence, but a hunching model looks anything but a supremely confident person, so it is important that a model should always stand straight up, on and off the runway.

These tips may prove to be useful, but nothing could be more useful than seeing the pros in action and trying to pick up something about the way they move on the runway. Taping a fashion show is a mighty good idea, because it gives you a chance to watch your favorite supermodels do their thing on the runway over and over again. Who knows, you just might pick up a thing or two that could make you the next Kate Moss or Gisele Bundchen.

Posing Techniques in Photography

Photography is a conglomeration of several things--camera, equipment, lighting, subject, and, if using a person, posing. You can learn different posing techniques when shooting portraits, action, or headshots in several ways.

# Trial and Error --:
One of the best posing techniques is simple trial and error. By using a digital camera, you can take as many photographs as you need to to learn what works and what doesnt when photographing people. Since photo subjects often look to their photographer for positions and poses, it is important to be able to see in your photos what works best.

# Study Other Photographers --:
Study the work of other photographers. Find out who does it best when it comes to what you want to do. If you want to take family portraits, you need to study the various poses for a family of three, four, or more family members. Look at the works of family portrait photographers and professional wedding photographers who take the family photos that can contain up to 30 or more people in one large photograph. By looking at what others do, you will get a basic idea that you can add to and adapt into your own style.

# Learn About Composition --:
By knowing about photography and the intricacies of what makes up a great photo, you will be able to better understand what poses are best for what types of photos. Understanding the effects of lighting, background and shutter speed will help you decide what you need to do in order to achieve the look you seek.

# Tips and Techniques --:
The idea to posing and positioning your subject is to give her a look for what you intend to get out of the photo. What do you want your viewers to see? Never allow subjects to just stand there: instead, have them lean against a car or sit on a bench. Give the subject something to do and you can find many poses from that single action.

Nail Care Tips

Maintaining healthy natural nails is not as complicated as many may think. As with hair, nails are usually their healthiest in their natural state, requiring a bit of nail polish for protection and regular applications of hand cream as a moisturizer.

Below are some useful nail care tips:

1. Never clip nails to shorten them. Use an emery board to file nails down to size.

2. Apply a top coat almost daily to help protect the tips.

3. Use nail polish remover as infrequently as possible - especially those containing acetone. Most nail polish removers will dry nails out. Many specialists suggest using nail polish remover no more than once a week.

4. Apply a hand cream or lotion after washing hands since soaps tend to cause nails and skin to become very dry. Cuticles should remain moisturized with Vaseline or a moisturizer such as Moisturel or Aquaphor. [Tip: Apply moisturizer before going to sleep each night.]

5. Never peel or scrape off nail polish or use metal instruments on the nail surface to push back the cuticles. This can scrape off the protective cells of the nail surface.

6. Break the habit of nail biting - it is very destructive to both the nail and the cuticle and can lead to infections that can actually deform the nail.

7. An excellent time to do your manicure is after a shower, bath or the dishes. These activities will remove dirt from under the nails as well as soften dry nails.

8. The cuticle protects the nail root from bacteria. Instead of cutting the cuticle, push it back gently with a rosewood stick or rubber-tipped cuticle-pusher. However, should the cuticle be hard and dry and sticking up, slightly trimming it is justifiable, but never remove the whole thing. Strong cuticle growth can be controlled with a cuticle softener or cuticle remover liquid.

9. Keep your nails out of your mouth! Biting nails can damage the nail and the cuticle leading to a deformed nail shape or uneven nail growth. You can also transfer harmful organisms to the nail that lead to infection or even increase ones chance of catching a cold or flu.

10 Beauty Tips For Eyes

The eyes are the part of the face we notice first. This is why its important to make sure that your eyes look their best when attending to your makeup and care routine. Following are some great beauty tips for your eyes, no matter who you are.

1. Healthy eyes are beautiful eyes. If your eyes are swollen, red, or otherwise unhealthy, no amount of makeup is going to disguise this fact. If you wear contact lenses, make sure that you attend to all the care instructions for them. Also, protect your eyes by using cosmetics with sunscreen included.

2. When putting on eye makeup, make sure it goes with the rest of your look. Too many women forget that while the eyes are important, they must be in harmony with the rest of the face. Choose eye makeup that goes with what youre wearing, and with the look you choose on the rest of your face. Dont let your features go to war with each other to be the most prominent – youll have to choose whether you want the focus to be on your lips or eyes, for instance. Overdoing it can just look garish.

3. Lay a good base. A layer of foundation on your eyelids will help smooth out imperfections and help your eye shadow and liner look their best.

4. Choose a color theme. This doesnt meant that you have to use a monochrome scheme for your eye makeup, but it does mean that its a good idea to keep an idea of color harmony in mind as you apply your makeup. The colors that will work best for you depend on your skin tone.

5. Pay attention to your eye shape. What works on one person wont necessarily look good on another. Figuring out what shape and set your eyes are can go a long way to helping you get the right look.

6. Select quality cosmetics. It really matters whether or not your makeup is high quality. Dont let your tools work against you just because you can get a cheaper brand. Youll never achieve the same looks you can with a better brand.

7. Use specialized cleansers to remove your makeup. Soap and water are harsh and can irritate the eyes. Specially formulated eye cleansers are gentle, but made to remove old cosmetics.

8. Use darker, more heavily made up looks at night. Daytime requires a more natural look. Apply mascara on the tips of the lashes only, and save the liquid liner for evenings. Harsh makeup in daylight can look overdone or silly.

9. Soften over-prominent eyes. Just because the eyes are the first thing we pay attention to doesnt meant that they must be the focus of every look. If you feel that your eyes are too prominent, apply medium shadow and dont use highlights. This will make them appear deeper-set.

10. Keep up to date on the latest looks. If youve been doing your eyes the same way for years, you can look dated without knowing it. Pay attention to what other people are wearing as well as the latest makeup styles, and form a look thats your own.

► Fashion Photography Theme Ideas

Using a specific theme in a fashion photography project opens up an unlimited range of creative possibilities. This depends specifically on the scope of creativity inside the photographer's mind. The depth of expression is further enhanced by a specific theme conceived by the one staring through the camera. A carefully chosen theme can evoke emotion, produce intense visual texture and inspire with colors that refresh the eye and lift the human spirit. A fashion photo session needs an interesting theme to draw the eye into the subject to effectively sell an idea, design, and a potential new style. Since many themes may be created inside the individual photographer's mind, reviewing all of the differences would be next to impossible. Three themes, often seen between the pages of magazines and in popular advertising, have been chosen as examples to help clarify their importance in a fashion photography project.

Theme 1 - Motion
Since the early 1900's and the invention of the automobile and the airplane, fashion and media has had a love affair with acceleration and movement. Motion themed advertisements have been a popular staple since the early days of marketing and continue their popularity even today. Capturing the human form in motion, whether alone or in combination with a vehicle is an effective theme with many possibilities. Letting your subject move freely as random actions or positions are captured can exhibit dramatic results. It also allows you to frame a moment in time creating an interesting texture through partially blurred imagery, multiple focus, and unpredictable tones. Choosing this theme will demand a detailed understanding and command of the camera, speeds and control. If thought through carefully, a Motion themed shoot could be the best way to show a photographer's skill and creativity.

Theme 2 - Music
Music and Fashion have always affected one another. Since the birth of television, the styles and clothing choices of popular musicians have set trends and made history. It is difficult to see which art form influences each other most. Guitars and other instruments have often been used to enhance fashion photography to amplify the attraction of a generation. For example, using a nightclub backdrop can prove to have endless possibilities. Posing models playing guitars, working turntables, or simply wearing headphones while moving smoothly to music can be incredibly effective. With the right models and the most current imagery and props, this theme can help the finished product shimmer.

Theme 3 - Nature
The final theme example, Nature, can expose the photographer to a wide spectrum of color, light and texture. Depending on the location or choice of backdrop, the model can interact with rock, earth and vegetation which exhibit multiple levels of texture. Use of wind, water and light can also be used to express the powers of weather and temperature against the subject. Since this theme is based on pure beauty, a large investment of creativity could produce some of your most memorable photographs.

With some experimentation and creative ingenuity, a good fashion photographer can turn any good theme into a memorable piece of art.

► Fashion photography: Tips from London Fashion Week

• Some top tips for photographing fashion shows from the photographer’s pit:

- Make sure you get the settings right before you start snapping. It’ll be dark in the pit, and you’ll have little or no time to think about changing your settings. The last thing you’ll need is to be fiddling with buttons and miss a load of vital shots.

- Be prepared for overcrowding, but don’t be afraid to hold your own. Make sure you get to the photographer’s area early so you’ll be able to mark out your spot and ideally choose the optimum location.

- Aim for the centre of the pit as you’ll be able to get better eye contact with the models.

- Don’t be intimidated. Finding yourself in the packed press pit can be daunting, but you’ll forget all that once the show starts, the time will fly by and you’ll find it exciting.

- Make the most of your time in the pit – don’t assume you’ll have all the time in the world. 20 minutes might seem like a long time, but it really isn’t. Make every shot count.

- Look for celebrities and important fashion bods on the front row – many news outlets will want to see shots of celebs enjoying themselves (or better yet, looking grumpy).

- Try to get a different shot – it might sound obvious, but trying to get a different shot to the other photographers sat just inches away from you is the real challenge for fashion photographers. Look out for details, mishaps on the catwalk and unusual behaviour (such as models smiling!).

- Get the models to look at you – eye contact shots are real winners, so if you can’t get to the centre of the pit, try shouting to grab their attention. You might feel self conscious at first, but everyone will be doing it, and sometimes, it works.

- Think in black and white – if bright colours are lacking, don’t be afraid to convert your images to black and white. Big, blocky prints work better for black and white than fine intricate details, but converting can save an otherwise dull shot.

- If you’ve got time (or an extra body) don’t be afraid to use a wide angle lens to set the scene and get some great context shots.

• What settings should I use for shooting a fashion show?

- Take a white balance reading inside the venue to ensure there are no unusual colour casts.

- Use a wide enough aperture (around f/4) to keep the model sharp and throw the rest the scene out of focus (but make sure the clothes are still sharp!)

- Use a fast shutter speed and continuous high drive mode

- Shoot in RAW for the best results that will allow you tweak settings later on

- If it’s dark you may need to up the ISO, but keep it as low as possible to avoid grainy shots.

- Aim for a variety of different types of shot, single shots, models passing each other, all the models at the end of the show, models posing at the end of the catwalk and models walking.

► How to Get Involved in Fashion Photography

The fashion industry offers jobs in various areas. One area is the position of a fashion photographer. This is a great way to be involved in the artistic side of fashion and to make designer clothing into your own pieces of photographic art.

1. Know the fashion industry. To get involved in fashion photography the first thing you must do is have extensive knowledge of the industry. In order to be hired you must know trends designers and models.

2. Be social. Fashion photographers have to work with all kinds of people including the fashion designers as well as the models. Interact with these people.

3.Build up your photography resume. Fashion photography is a hard business to crack into because of the importance of a quality picture. Practice your photography on other things and book other jobs until you have a portfolio worthy of getting a fashion job.

4.Have a good sense of marketing. Being in the fashion industry especially as a photographer requires you to sell an image. You have to have the marketing savvy to get your pictures published.

5.Be flexible. The best way to get into the fashion photography business is by having a lot of experience which means taking any job offered to you. Even if it isnt your dream job be flexible and willing to work with anyone to show how interested you are.

6.Give good directions. As the photographer of the fashion shoot you must call the shots. This means you have to know where you want the lighting to be how you want the make-up done and how the models should pose. As the photographer you must be assertive.

► Equipment Needed for Fashion Photography

So, after a few courses in photography and art, you've decided to become a fashion and glamour photographer. You've been renting the DSLR cameras from your school and even took classes to learn how to develop film, even though no one uses this process anymore. Getting into the fashion business is a serious goal, however. You need an eye for detail and a creative mind; you need to visualize a story you want to tell with your photographs before you start clicking the shutter.

1.The Camera

You will need a camera that can respond to your commands, not just automatically adjust to ambient conditions. A digital SLR (DSLR) is the type of camera to begin your fashion career. Probably the most often used professional cameras are Nikon, Mamiya and Canon, but other professionals have used Vivitar and Pentax.

2.Lenses and Accessories

With the camera, you will need a lens hood, lens filters and a few extra-high-capacity memory cards. Chief among these items being lenses. A well prepared photographer has more than one camera for the shoot and a variety of lenses for different types of shots and effects.Start with a standard 24-to-120mm zoom lens, the one that usually comes with your camera, if you buy a kit. Then there are zoom, telephoto and wide-angle lenses, all offering different options for different effects; macro zoom for extreme closeups, wide angle for a panoramic view.

3.Lighting

You may want to get some mounted flash units as well. Most common come with "hot shoe" connections, which means there are no wires to be concerned with. Attach the lights, turn on the power--and they sync automatically with your camera's shutter. You can get lighting that mounts to your macro lenses that can direct light more precisely to or away from your aperture target. It's ideal for closeups, especially for faces as it can eliminate or create shadows. Many fashion and glamor photographers will have a collection of camera-mounted flash units to utilize the different effects and strengths each individual unit brings to a shoot. They may only use two, or even just one, but it feels good to know there are options in the bag should you get an inspiration.

All the major camera companies make professional flash units: Nikon, Canon, Vivitar, Kodak and even Sony. The challenge for a beginning photographer is to find one or two that will fit your budget and get the job done. But that's not all the lighting a photographer needs. For good studio work, the fashion photographer needs studio lights and umbrella strobes, at least two of each, controlled by your shutter, which is why a professional photographer's camera has the accessories connectors, some of which are wireless. The professional's camera needs an accessories connection to sync up lighting not connected directly to the camera; definitely a must in fashion photography.

4.Other Accessories

For studio work, backdrops are often needed. Cloth is the usual material used as one can make do with clean sheets in a variety of colors, but one might also purchase metallic backdrops as well for different effects. Well-established, successful studios hire artists to create settings in much the same way movie producers create scenes on soundstages, but most photographers will just take their show on location. Natural scenery and light is best; a photographer can always adjust lighting with the camera's aperture and of course additional lighting.Which brings up a piece of equipment that can be overlooked: a power source for your gear. Most people opt for rechargeable battery units because they are silent. A generator can provide power, but they're usually noisy and distracting.

5.Get a Laptop

Because everything in photography is digital these days, a powerful laptop computer is needed. Either Macintosh or Windows operating systems, but it must have the capability to hold and manipulate thousands of photos. A laptop is recommended because it can go anywhere you and your camera go; that's not just convenience, it is essential for the fashion photographer. Many, if not most, shoots will occur outside the studio. Some cameras offer software that links the camera with a computer so the photographs are easily transferred from camera to hard drive, making it easy for the photographer and models to see their work immediately. The most common photography software is the venerable Photoshop, a name that has been at the forefront of digital photography for nearly 20 years. There are other programs out there as well, made by camera companies specifically for their equipment and not nearly is pricey as Photoshop. Some will even work with different brands of cameras as well.

6.The Cost

The problem a photographer faces when starting out in the business is cost. Buying everything mentioned so far will run, easily, to $12,000 or more. The camera and lenses alone nearly $5,000, and, if you buy a Macintosh Airbook, that's at least $3,000.Which is why photographers will stick with one brand of camera. All Nikon lenses and filters will work on any Nikon camera, for example. Same with the other companies as well. Some equipment will work with a variety of brands, so you need to shop around if you use different brands of cameras.

Serious work in fashion photography might require an even more expensive camera and accessories: the medium format single-reflex camera. Not often used now, it was, until the digital age, the best format for fashion photography. Those cameras, lenses and accessories can run into the tens of thousands of dollars, if you get the digital camera backs to replace the actual film. The most trusted names for medium format photography are Hasselblad and Mamiya. Both are still used by professional photographers. The good news for the aspiring photographer is that all of this equipment can be rented. There are companies throughout the United States that will rent any and all photography equipment so you don't need to have $12,000 in equipment to get started. As the business grows, you can purchase more equipment as needed.

Fashion photography, as with any profession in the arts, is a tough business; you need to not only look your best but professional as well. Serious professional equipment says a lot about a person's commitment to their job and career. You only get one shot at success when you get the big break. Everything has to be perfect.
